justin and lynn: love promised

where do i even begin with these two? they are perfect for each other in every way. there were so many little moments throughout our morning together when i was smiling to myself at the little looks they exchanged and the whispers they shared back and forth. they are great friends to each other and to all who know them. when we first got to the field where we were taking our first set of shots, i told them to just talk for a few minutes while i tested the light, and that i probably wouldn't hold onto those anyway. i got so many good pictures from those first few unplanned moments. this is their story, their love that they are choosing to continue to write together. i am honored to be your friend, and honored that you were both vulnerable with me and trusted me to capture these moments. i wish you both all the best in your marriage, and a wonderful time in europe! can't wait for your wedding day!!

love,

not forgotten

simply busy, that's all:) my youngest sister came to visit us for a week, and naturally zero work got done except for spending a few hours picking her favorite shots from her senior session. we left last wednesday evening with one of our best friends to head to colorado to meet up more good friends and have just an all around great friend weekend in the gorgeous mountains. we climbed at garden of the gods one afternoon, and then the guys went to red rocks the next day. it was such a pleasant, albeit extremely cold, change from oklahoma humidity and lack of mountains. don't get me wrong, i have come to appreciate oklahoma for what it is, and love the people and relationships i have here and the urban feel of our neighborhood, but nothing beats mountains. just saying:) in other news my sister-in-law is due any day to have our second niece, so i am uber stoked about that. we will be traveling down to new mexico shortly after she is born so we can meet her and evan can have his holding infants fix. my lens broke a few weeks ago, but was still under warranty and i should have it back in my hands soon to continue the shooting madness. in the near future i am interested in photographing a couple who is already married, be it one year or 60, who would be willing to take some pics outside in the cold. just something to mull over, and more on that soon. i hope you are all staying warm, and hopefully not feeling as tired as i am at like 6:30 because of the time change.
love,
m
